After a six year break, the Symposium of the Güntner Group took place again this year from 24 to 26 October. The event of the group including the sister companies Güntner, JAEGGI and thermowave found great approval among about 200 guests from 28 countries.

Güntner is ErP-ready: Even before the minimum energy efficiency requirements for fans came into force, Güntner had already equipped all its heat-exchanger components with suitable fans. This was appropriate, because the stipulations of the EU’s Ecodesign or ErP (Energy-related Products) Directive 2009/125/EC apply to all products related to energy-consumption, and hence also to refrigeration and air-conditioning products incorporating fans.

On February 26, Güntner was awarded the “Highly commended” seal during the Gulfood Awards ceremony in the category Best Light Equipment Innovation Award. This distinction pays tribute to the fact that Güntner offers a very broad product range of hygiene-certified air coolers.
