P.T. Güntner Indonesia
Customer proximity through expansion into Asiatic market
In 1994, Güntner decided to establish with P.T. Güntner Indonesia a production facility in Indonesia. Already in 1996 the building work was completed and the first Güntner units were produced.
The production capacity of the plant soon was too small, so the facility was extended in 1997. Although the economic situation was difficult in Asia at that time, the company continued to increase its turnover every year and the production facility was extended step by step. Today, the production facility in Indonesia is the second largest facility of the Güntner Group with approx. 500 employees.
Almost the entire Güntner product portfolio is manufactured in Indonesia.
A highly-qualified and committed team of engineers and technical specialists in various fields treats all customer requests in order to comply with the company's main objective of highest customer satisfaction.
Assuring the high quality standard of Güntner was crucial during the construction process and is consistently implemented today in the every-day production process. All internal work processes in the Indonesian plant comply with the production processes and quality standards implemented at the other Güntner production facilities. As other Güntner plants, the production facility in Indonesia has obtained the international certification standard ISO 9001 and is optimising its environmental management for obtaining the international environmental standard ISO 14001.
The planned certification with the environmental standard 14001 will mark a further step towards sustainable development in the company.
